Another awesome weekly event hosted by Miz B from Should Be Reading.
To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…
• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?
My answers:
What am I currently reading?
- DUNE by Frank Herbert for the DUNE Read-along hosted by Melissa @ 1lbr.
- Imagine: How Creativity Works by Jonah Lehrer via Audible…I’m almost finished. Content is good, narration not so much.
What did I recently finish?
I decided to extend my Independence Day holiday by taking Thursday & Friday off, too…so I had a bit of a readathon. It was filled with AWESOME books.
- Every Day by David Levithan — Out in August and it is AMAZING.
- Blackout by Mira Grant — last in the Newsflesh trilogy. Awesome.
- Overseas by Beatriz Williams — Time travel and romance. Need I say more?
- Wool (Omnibus) by Hugh Howey — Speculative fiction, short stories, self-published goodness.
- Alif the Unseen by G. Willow Wilson — Aladdin meets Wizard of Oz meets Ready Player One. (Computer hackers and genies…sweet!)
What will I read next?
- DUNE…I feel like I’ll be reading it forever. It’s HUGE. But in case I finish…
- The Chaperone by Laura Moriarty — I’d really like to get to this one soon.
- Rules of Civility by Amor Towles — I bought it, so I need to read it sooner than later.
- Among Others by Jo Walton — Lots of book love throughout this one (or so I hear).
Happy Reading!

I’ve only heard of Dune, I’ll definitely be checking out your other titles, though.
