I haven’t participated in W…W…W…Wednesday since August, but I’m tired of wedding stuff for the moment (though I am beginning to understand how one becomes a Bridezilla). So here’s another awesome weekly event hosted by Miz B from Should Be Reading: W…W…W…Wednesdays!

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

My answers:
What am I currently reading?
According to Goodreads, I’m reading about a million books…or five. Pretty sure I need to just call it quits on a couple of those. What I’m really reading:
by Megan McCafferty
— I loved the first in this series, Bumped, but so far Thumped is a little disappointing.
My Week with Marilyn
(the one with both diaries) by Colin Clark — I read the first half of this (the one week part) and have been slowly making my way through the second halfSometimes it’s just easier to take it slow…this slow though?

What did I recently finish?
The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms by N.K. Jemisin — A great read! If you want some pretty awesome world-building with fighting, family, and lurve…then try this.
Shadow of Night by Deborah Harkness — Again, a little disappointed by this follow-up to last year’s A Discovery of Witches. I felt like not a lot happened until the very end…a few hundred pages could have been edited away and I would have been OK with that (but the end was great and now I do want to read the next in the series).
The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg — A great listen! So interesting and I’ve been telling everyone that they have the power to change their habits.

What will I read next?
Alias Grace by Margaret Atwood
— I was supposed to start this over the weekend, but I didn’t.
Feed by Mira Grant
— Jesse finished it over the weekend and loved it, plus Shannon says it’s good poolside reading. I’m thinking it’ll be my Saturday read.
